qutecsound software package provides frontend for the csound sound processor (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qutecsound
qutecsound is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qutecsound package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qutecsound *
You will get with qutecsound package name, version, architecture and description in a table
